Portage Lions Club “Special Focus” Scholarship
We recognize that returning to school after having been out of the school setting for a while can be a big decision with both challenges and rewards.
The Portage Lions Club is looking to support a qualified candidate that has the goal of continuing their education at the college level.

2020 Radio Auction is postponed
The Portage Lions Club cares about our community, with that in mind, the club has made the decision to postpone the Radio Auction.
Once the health crisis is over, we will announce the new date the auction will be held.

The 44th Portage Lions Club Radio Auction is Saturday, April 4th from Noon to 4pm.

Caring Tree donation
The Portage Lions Club is happy to donate two kids bikes to the Caring Tree. There is a bike for a boy and a bike for a girl. We hope the kids that receive these gifts will enjoy the bikes for years to come!

Lions helping at the Sharing Supper
On November 25th the Portage Lions Club helped at the Sharing Supper that is held at the middle school on the 4th Monday of each month.
Lions Tom, Jeff, Emil, Wendy, Jerry, Heather, and Nancy.
Columbia County Humane Society Donation
Thanks to all the money raised at the Pizza Ranch fundraiser in October, the Portage Lions Club donated $411.78 to the Columbia County Humane Society to go towards their BiBi Fund that helps support extra medical expenses needed for animals to get them ready for adoption.

Fun with Torches donation
On August 1st the Portage Lions Club took a picture with the students enrolled in the Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs – Fun with Torches summer program at Madison College. The Club sponsored 4 middle school students.
The community and the students love this program so much that ALL the students were sponsored by area businesses and community members!
